Samenvoordelig: headless commerce with connected measurement

01
Starting point
A discounter needs more than a polished storefront
Samenvoordelig sells leading brands as an online discounter. According to the customer testimonial, the launch centred on three requirements: fast loading, sound architecture and a smooth go-live.
We developed the shop interface and operational order flow as one connected system. Product information, cart and checkout had to work on mobile; orders and purchase signals then needed to reach the connected systems reliably.

Shop architecture
Clear separation of frontend, backend and fulfilment
EverDigital and SpagoIT built a headless shop. Customer-facing presentation is separate from commerce logic, allowing journey improvements without rebuilding the backend.
The operational chain includes backend and fulfilment. Clear boundaries support speed, integrations and measurable optimisation.
- Independent frontend for customer experience
- Commerce backend for cart and orders
- Fulfilment within the operational chain
- Clear system boundaries for further development and tracking

Purchase tracking
Browser and server routes share purchase signals
The audit compared browser, GTM, server container, Ads, analytics and real orders. Published routes used the same purchase action and transaction ID to support consistent attribution and avoid duplicates.
An API comparison confirmed an Ads conversion matching a WooCommerce purchase amount. Amount and order ID remain private. This substantiates the audited chain, not improved ROAS or attribution of every purchase.
- Shared browser/server purchase action
- Transaction ID for reconciliation and deduplication
- Actual order checked against Ads and analytics
- Consent and available click IDs limit attribution
Data limits
What this case study substantiates
Transparent measurement includes known gaps. These limits matter when interpreting results:
- Tracking respects consent. Without consent or a usable click ID, a real purchase cannot be fully attributed to an ad interaction.
- The audit verifies the measurement flow at that point in time. It does not establish the future completeness of every signal.
