Frequently asked questions

What is an MCP server and why use one?
Model Context Protocol is an open standard connecting AI assistants with tools. A server defines available data and actions; role permissions and controls make system work traceable.
Does it work with Bexio and Abacus?
The Bexio MCP server has OAuth, 29 tools and optional privacy controls. Browser demos also show autopilot and copilot. Abacus and other ERP interfaces are scoped by available fields and processes.
Do AI models see customer data?
It depends on the approved process. The gateway can remove or pseudonymise personal data. Pseudonymisation is not anonymisation, so providers, regions, contracts, access and deletion still require assessment.
What does getting started cost?
Existing modules start at CHF 5'900 with a 5–10-day target. Custom MCP setup and agents are quoted after scoping; a free prototype demonstrates capability using approved representative data.
Will an AI agent replace employees?
The goal is to support repetitive capture, drafts and lookups. Decisions and approvals remain with the team; tool calls are logged and risky writes require approval.
Which AI models do you use?
Claude, GPT or European alternatives based on privacy, cost and quality. Models are interchangeable within the architecture.
